2 years ago I had the great pleasure of spending an evening with Spurs legends Ossie Ardiles, Ricky Villa and Paul Miller. It was a dream come true as I vividly remember the 1978 world cup in Argentina as a 10-year old kid kicking the ball against the wall pretending I was a player.

It was also the kick off event for the ‘Fanslive’ project as we set out our vision to shareholders for a new experience that would digitally connect clubs, fans & their communities.

The catalyst was 5G in stadiums, as we knew it could make a fully digital & immersive fan experience a reality. There are many sports tech solutions on the market, however Fanslive was created with a very different vision & purpose.

It's about a new strategy combining tech, finance & media on one integrated platform to fundamentally change the traditional cost/revenue model that clubs have relied on for decades.

Football clubs are at the heart of our communities so it’s critical they survive the current challenges. Perhaps now is the time to re-think the traditional model for a more sustainable future.
